what ink does my hp deskjet 2700 printer use

Newink cartridges, store bought from Walmart (yes HP brand). I reset the printer twice, set it up twice with the HP smart app, and I'm still having no luck even though the HP app says it's connected. I don't know how to fix it at this point. Any pointers?
